With less than one month to the crucial Africa cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt, Sunday Oliseh has resigned as coach of the Super Eagles.
The former national team captain cited unpaid salaries, lack of cooperation, among other factors as reasons for his decision to quit.
He wrote on his official page: ''I feel fortunate, blessed and eternal grateful for having to play, captain and coach this great Nations of ours, Nigeria.
''Due to contract violations, lack of support, Unpaid wages, Benefits to my players, Asst. Coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles Chief Coach.

Back in the December, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike approved the payment of the students of the outstanding fees of final year students of Rivers State origin on scholarship in foreign universities.
Rivers state commissioner of Agriculture, Mrs Onimim Jack who oversees the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSSDA) announced the decision during meeting with parents of the children studying abroad under the scholarship of the state government.
Now, copies of the letter from RSSDA released by the government has made official. students on scholarship abroad have been directed to come back to Nigeria to continue their studies.

Suspected Fulani militias have continued to bombard akwu village in Agatu LGA, popular Benue journalist, Yemi Itodo told DAILY POST. According to Itodo, the gun men are now heading towards Ayila village. He said that despite the heavy gunshots, no military or any police man presence could be felt. He disclosed that from a distance, an helicopter could be sighted hovering on the air.
He told DAILY POST that over 200 persons have been reportedly killed and many houses razed by the marauders.

BREAKING NEWS: JAMB gives candidate 48 hours to complete registration
The joint Admissions and Matriculation board (JAMB) has given candidates who could not upload and complete their registration process as at February 5, could do so within 48 hours starting from 12 midnight of Tuesday, February, 2016 to 12:00am on Thursday.
The board in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by its media, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said that its website would be open to candidate from 12:00am on Tuesday to 12:00am on Thursday, jamb said the new development does not cover fresh candidate who are yet to begin registration process.
The statement said all arrangements has been made for the commencement of the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
Candidates are also urged to print their slip for their schedules of their date, venue time allocated to them and other necessary information, the statement said.
